Set realistic expectations for the first few days after delivery.

Follow the model, not a universal clock

Different foam blends, packaging pressures, room temperatures, and designs recover at different rates. Some product instructions ask buyers to wait roughly 48–72 hours for the intended shape, but that is not a universal promise. Unbox promptly where the sofa can sit undisturbed, and keep the care sheet. A photo right after opening can help you track progress.

When to ask for help

Take clear photos at the times specified by the seller. If a corner remains visibly misshapen after the stated window, contact support before attempting heat, steaming, or other improvised fixes. Keep packaging until you understand the return rules, if space allows. Do not judge a sofa's published measurements against the first hour of expansion.

Treat the seller's written recovery instructions and claim deadline as the authority for your specific sofa.

For an example of model-specific recovery directions, see this product instruction. Your own sofa's instructions may differ.
