Foam names alone do not tell you how a seat will feel.
Look at the whole seat
Ask what sits beneath the upholstery: a single foam block, layered foams, springs, or a frame. Density and firmness are different properties, and a soft top can hide a supportive core. The seat's thickness, depth, and edge construction change the experience. Marketing labels such as 'memory' or 'high-resilience' need context.
Compare real use
If you sit upright often, check whether the edge supports you when standing. For lounging, see whether a deep seat still holds your lower back with a pillow. Ask the seller for specifications it can actually provide and read warranty language about indentation. A removable cushion or cover can make maintenance easier.
Choose the finished seat for your posture, not one foam adjective on a listing.
