Comfort is a fit between furniture and person.
Check geometry first
Seat height affects how easily your feet reach the floor and how you stand. Depth affects whether you can rest against the back without slouching. Arm height and back angle change how you read, nap, or converse. Measure a chair you like; its dimensions give you a personal reference that a 'cloud' description cannot.
Then check support
Sit for the activities you actually do, if a showroom visit is possible. Online, study internal construction and return terms. A sofa can be soft yet supportive, or firm yet poorly shaped. Think about who else uses it; one household may need a compromise or a few cushions for different bodies.
The most comfortable sofa is not a universal winner; it supports the routine in your room.
