Flexible living rooms call for a sofa that suits the space, not the zip code.
Watch light and layout
Strong daylight can change how a pale or saturated fabric looks through the day. Check the window, balcony door, and air-conditioning route before centering the sofa. Measure the usable wall rather than assuming an open-plan room has unlimited furniture space. A loungey low seat may suit relaxed evenings, but upright work needs support.
Think through delivery
A second-floor apartment, parking situation, or controlled-access building can complicate a large delivery. Confirm drop-off and carrying responsibilities. If a boxed option appeals, compare package weights and the expanded dimensions; also ask whether the cover can be cleaned according to its care code. Do not choose upholstery on color alone.
Plan for your actual light, circulation, and routine; the city name alone is not a buying guide.
