Judge the daily routine, not the unboxing video.
Think about repeated use
A guest-room sofa used twice a month has a different job from a family room seat used every evening. Consider who sits where, whether people lean on the arms, and how frequently spills happen. Construction, support, upholstery, and warranty matter more than the shipping method once the sofa is in place.
Look for maintainability
Can the cover be cleaned according to a clear code? Can a damaged cushion or module be replaced? Is the seat supportive at the edge where people stand up? Look for customer photos taken months after purchase, while remembering reviews are not controlled tests. Keep your own measurements and comfort preferences in the decision.
Daily use calls for a sofa you can clean, repair where possible, and comfortably get in and out of.
