Before dispatch
A seller should state box count, dimensions, weights, estimated delivery, and whether cartons arrive together. In an apartment building, confirm where the carrier may leave them. Make a plan for moving each box from lobby to room and ensure somebody can receive it if required.
At the door
Inspect cartons for obvious damage and photograph them before opening. Keep your order details nearby, count components, and follow the setup instructions. Unbox in a clear area; compressed foam may begin expanding immediately. Record any missing or damaged pieces promptly within the seller's stated reporting period.
