Parcel can be convenient
Boxes may arrive with ordinary package carriers and give you flexibility to unbox on your schedule. The trade-off is that drop-off can be at a threshold or lobby, and you do the carrying, setup, and disposal. Read the seller's exact service description, not a general promise.
White-glove can solve labor
An in-home delivery service may handle placement, assembly, and packaging removal, but availability and cost vary. It may require an appointment and building access arrangements. Compare the all-in price and who is responsible for damage at each stage. Neither method changes the finished sofa's footprint.
