Build a comparison sheet
For each candidate, record overall dimensions, seat height and depth, package dimensions and weights, upholstery composition, cleaning code, warranty, delivery service, and total price in USD. Product names and lifestyle photos are less reliable than these fields. Compare at least two realistic options against the same list.
Protect your exit
Read the return terms before purchase, especially when the product arrives compressed. Can it be collected expanded? Is a restocking fee charged? Will you pay return freight? The FTC advises checking delivery, return, refund, and shipping-cost terms when shopping online. Keep the confirmation, listing, and seller messages.
An attractive price can become less attractive once delivery and a difficult return are included.
